行列の階数 を英語で教えて!

「行列の階数」は上記のように表現します。
行列のランク（階数）を求める場合です。行列Aのランクとは、Aの列ベクトルもしくは行ベクトルの線形独立な最大個数です。
rank: 階数（名詞）
matrix: 行列（名詞）

例文
The first time I tried to calculate the rank of a matrix in math class, it was quite difficult.
数学の授業で初めて行列の階数を求めましたが結構難しかったです。
first time: 初めて（文頭に用いるフレーズ）
tried: try（試みる）の過去形

calculate の代わりに find を用いると次の文章になります。

「強襲」は上記のように表現します。
野球で使用される場面です。
