初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

煙に巻かれる を英語で教えて!

「煙に巻かれる」は「火事などで煙につつまれ前後左右の方向感覚を失うこと」を意味します。
英語では【be rolled up in smoke】や【be surrounded by smoke】などで言う事が出来ます。

ex. 煙に巻かれないよう口をハンカチで覆います。
I cover my mouth with a handkerchief so that I don't get rolled up in smoke.
I protect my mouth with a handkerchief not to be surrounded by smoke.

雲隠れ を英語で教えて!

「雲隠れ」は「何かの騒動の際に転じて行方が分からないように逃げること」を意味します。
英語では【disappear】【escape from～】【 drop out of sight 】などで言う事が出来ます。

ex. 彼らはその事件の後どこかに雲隠れした。
They disappeared somewhere after the incident.

ex. 彼らは何も言わずに全てから逃げ出した。
They escaped from everything without saying anything.
They dropped out of sight without saying anything.

運命に翻弄される を英語で教えて!

「運命に翻弄される」は【 be at the mercy of fate. 】で言うことが出来ます。
「翻弄される」は「～のなすがまま」という意味です。

ex. 学生時代は、友達の気分に翻弄されていました。
I was at the mercy of mood by my schoolmates in my student days.
be at the mercy of mood by my schoolmates=友人の気分に翻弄される

ex. 母親のしつけに翻弄されました。
I was at the mercy of my mother's discipline.

運転を控える を英語で教えて!

「運転をお控えください」は【 Please refrain from driving. 】で言うことが出来ます。
【refrain from】 で「～を控える」です。
ex. refrain from overeating.=過食を控える
ex. refrain from spending money a lot.= お金を散財するのを控える

ex. この薬を飲んだ後は、運転をお控えください。
Please refrain from driving this car after taking this medicine.

運転を見合わせております を英語で教えて!

「運転見合わせ」は【 suspention of driving 】で言うことが出来ます。
suspentionは「一時停止」「中止」「保留」という意味を持ち合わせます。

ex. 人身事故のため、ただいま運転を見合わせております。
Ｗe're curruntly suspending driving due to a personal accident.

personal accident=人身事故
due to～（前置詞）＝～の為に

ex. 電車が１時間運転見合わせです。
This train is suspended for au hour.
