木魚（もくぎょ） を英語で教えて!

お経を読む時に木魚を叩きます。
When I read sutras, I beat a wooden gong.

「木魚」はお坊さんがお経を読む際にたたく、木製の楽器です。
「木魚を叩く」は【I beat a wooden gong.】です。
「木魚」は【wooden gong】【wooden durm】です。
そのまま【mokugyo】の場合もあります。

また「経典を唱える」は【sutra chanting】です。

例文
木魚は木でてきており、先が布で作られた棒で叩きます。
Mokugyo is made of wood and beaten with a stick having a cloth head.

木にとまる を英語で教えて!

綺麗な鳥があそこの木にとまっている.
A beautiful bird stayed in that tree over there.

「～にとまる」は【stay at/in/on】です。
「木にとまる 」【stay in the tree】で言えます。

over there=向こう側の、あそこの

例文
てんとう虫が庭の木の端にとまっている。
Ladybugs are staying at the edge of the tree in the garden.

ladybug=てんとう虫
edge= 端

毛筆 を英語で教えて!

今日は毛筆だから、黒い服を着て行ってね.
We will use a (black) brush today, so please come here wearing black clothes.

「毛筆」は【brush】です。
「墨筆」は【black brush】で言う事が出来ます。

毛筆は「書道」【calligrahy】の話題に登場する事が多いです。
「墨汁」【liquid ink】
「墨」【ink stick】
「和紙」【Jpanese paper】
なども一緒に覚えると便利です。

例文
毛筆で大きな字を書きました。
I wrote a big letter with a brush.

毛糸の手袋を編んだ を英語で教えて!

子どもに毛糸の手袋を編んだ.
I knitted woolen gloves for my child.
I knitted gloves out of wool for my child.
I knitted wool into gloves for my child.

「（毛糸、織物）を編む」は【knit】です。
変化はknit-knitted-knittedです。
「接合する」「密着する」などの意味もあります。

woolen=毛糸の
gloves =手袋

例文
彼にセーターを編んであげる。
I knit him a sweater.
knit 人＋物＝人に物を編む

面倒をかけてすみませんでした。 を英語で教えて!

面倒をかけてすみませんでした。
I was sorry for bothering you.
I apologized for the inconvenience.

「すみません」などの謝罪の表現は【be sorry for/to～】が一般的です。
【apologize for～】も同じく「～を謝罪する」という単語です。
自動詞なので目的語の前に前置詞が必要です。

例文
いつもお手数をおかけしてすみません。
I'm sorry to trouble you all the time.

申し訳ありません。
I must apologize.
