日本の慣用句「しびれを切らす」は英語では patience exceed limit や run out of patience などで表現することができます。

しどろもどろ を英語で教えて！

「しどろもどろ」は英語では be confused などで表現することができます。
また、"モゴモゴ口籠ったような話し方"をよく muffle で表現するので、ニュアンスは変わりますが、これも使えるかなと思います。
