カビちゃった を英語で教えて!

「カビちゃった」は英語では it was moldy や it mildewed などで表現することができます。

The bath mat was moldy.
（バスマットがカビちゃった。）

I thought something was wrong with the color in the corner of the room, so when I checked it, that part mildewed.
（部屋の隅の色が何か変だと思ってので、確認してみたら、その部分がカビていた。）

「開き直る」は英語では defiant attitude や being defiant などを使って表現することができます。

I don't recommend being defiant because it only amplifies the other person's anger.
