自前 を英語で教えて！

「自前」は英語では on one's own や at one's own expense などで表現することができます。

All the sneakers I used in the shoot the other day were in my own. I will charge the shooting fee later.

「墓穴を掘る」は英語では dig one's own grave とほとんど日本語と同じ意味で表現することができます。

In other words, you unwittingly dug your own grave.

「自撮りする」は英語では take a selfie と表現することができます。

「コツをつかむ」は英語では get the hang of や learn the ropes などで表現することができます。

（最初は難しく感じるんですけど、毎日やってると、コツを掴めるんで簡単になりますよ。）

「母校」は英語では alma mater や former school などで表現することができます。

（残念ながら、私の母校は来年閉鎖されることが決定されました。）
