面取りする を英語で教えて！

「面取りする」は英語では cut away an edge と表現できるかなと思います。

I will cut away edges for don't fall apart while boiling.
（煮崩れないよう面取りします。）
※ fall apart while boiling（煮崩れる）

In order to make a more delicious stew, it is a little troublesome, but please cut away edges all the vegetables.

「殺処分」は英語では euthanization や slaughtering などで表現することができます。

Unwanted animals will be euthanized.
（引き取り手のない動物は殺処分されます。）

「手放す」は英語では let go や release などで表現することができます。

幼少期 を英語で教えて！

「幼少期」は英語では childhood や infant stage などで表現することができます。

When I go home, I am reminded of my childhood.
（実家に帰ると、幼少期を思い出します。）

My infant stage was more than 30 years ago, so I think the way children played was quite different from today's children.
（私の幼少期は30年以上前だったので、今の子供たちとは遊び方がかなり違っていたと思います。）

「こたつであったまる」は英語では warm up under the kotatsu になります。
kotatsu（こたつ） を他の言い方で表現するなら warm up under the Japanese foot warmer でも言い表せると思います。

Warm up under the kotatsu is the best.
（こたつであったまるのってやっぱり最高だなぁ。）

At the end of the year, I will watch TV while warming up under the Japanese foot warmer.
