巣箱 を英語で教えて!

「巣箱」は英語では birdhouse や nest box などで表現することができます。

Sparrows come to my garden, so I made a birdhouse for them.
（庭にすずめが来るので、巣箱を作ってあげました。）

I thought it would be nice if wild birds lived there, so I made a nest box out of wood.
（野鳥が住んだらいいなと思って、木で巣箱を作りました。）

遠回しに を英語で教えて!

「遠回しに」は英語では roundabout や indirect などを使って表現することができます。

It's hard to say it directly, so it's better to say it in a roundabout way.
（直接言われるとキツイので、遠回しに言った方が良いです。）

Coaches shouldn't say indirect way about why they can't play.
（コーチは彼等がプレー出来ない理由を遠回しに伝えるべきではない。）
