面会時間 を英語で教えて！

「面会時間」は英語では Visiting hours と言います。

Visiting hours at this hospital are limited to 9:00 to 17:00.
（当院の面会時間は9時から17時までです。）

最近は病院等で、コロナウィルス流行の影響からかオンライン面会が増えているようですが、「オンライン面会」は英語では remote visitation と表現したりします。

In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, our clinic recommends remote visitation.
（新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止のため、当院ではリモート面会を推奨しております。）

模範的でお手本になる人 を英語で教えて！

「模範的な生徒」は英語で exemplary student で表現することが出来ます。

Kenji is good at both studies and sports and is a model student.
（ケンジは勉強もスポーツも得意な模範的な生徒だ。）

別の言い方で model student と言ったりしますが、
「手本になる人」「憧れの人」を
role model と言って表現することもできます。

My role model is that rock star.
（私のロールモデルはあのロックスターです。）

模倣品 を英語で教えて！

「模倣品」は英語で imitation と言い表せます。

This product is clearly an imitation of our product.
（この商品は明らかに我が社の商品の模倣品だ。）

また別の言い方で counterfeit product と言ったりもします。

ちなみに「正規品」は genuine product
「合格品」（検品などに）は accepted product
「不合格品」は rejected product
「不良品」は defective product
などと言います。

猛暑続きで食欲がない を英語で教えて！

「猛暑」は英語で、intense heat や fierce heat で言い表せます。
「食欲」は appetite になるので、「猛暑続きで食欲がない」は I have no appetite of the intense heat.

In summer, many people lose appetite because of the intense heat.
（夏になると、多くの人が猛暑のせいで食欲がなくなる。）

ちなみに「猛暑」の反対で「極寒」の場合、 intense cold や midwinter などと言います。

木の葉が色づいてきてる を英語で教えて！

「木の葉が色づいてきてる」を英語で表現すると tree leaves are changing/turning color になります。

Summer is over and tree leaves are changing colors.
(夏が終わり、木の葉が色づいてきている。）

別の言い方で、より”紅葉”に焦点を当てて fall/autumn leaves begin ということもできます。

Fall leaves are beginning.
（紅葉が始まっている。）
