「1150」を英語で言う場合には、 通常なら one thousand, one hundred, fifty という形になりますが、それをちょっと簡単にして、表現するなら eleven hundred and fifty と 千の位で数えずに、そこも含めて百の位で数えてしまうというような方法もあります。
（人によっては、こちらの方が簡単に感じることもあると思います）

例えば、1821 なら
eighteen hundred and twenty one になります。
