義務 を英語で教えて!

「義務」は英語では duty や obligation などで表現することができます。

I understand your feelings, but it is the duty of the people to pay even if the tax is increased.
（君の気持ちは分かるけど、増税されても支払うのが国民の義務だよ。）

This is of course not an obligation, so ignore it if you don't want to.
