離島 を英語で教えて!

「離島」は英語では remote island や isolated island などで表現することができます。

I often go to the main island of Okinawa, but I have not been to the remote islands yet.
（沖縄本島にはよく行きますが、離島にはまだ行ったことがありません。）
※ main island （本島）

I’m from an isolated island, so I can relax when I see the ocean.
（離島出身なので、海を見ると心が落ち着きます。）

「理想を実現する」は英語では achieve one's ideals や realize one's ideals などで表現することができます。

But in reality, only a handful of people can achieve their ideals.

Unfortunately, it takes time and money to realize my ideals.
