歯がむずがゆい を英語で教えて!

・gums are itchy
歯茎をgums、むず痒いをitchyと言います。

例：Are your gums itchy?
歯がむず痒いの？

itchyはかゆい、という意味ですので、
I got a mosquito bite, so itchy.
蚊に刺されてとても痒い。
という際にも使用可能です。

ちなみに、歯茎以外の歯周りを現す語句として下記を覚えておくと便利です。

tooth/teeth　歯
wisdom tooth　親知らず
cavities　虫歯
front tooth　前歯
back tooth 奥歯

雌花・雄花 を英語で教えて!

・female flower/male flower
雌花はfemale flower、雄花はmale flowerです。

例：A female flower of cucumber has a little cucumber at the back of the flower, whereas a male flower does not.
きゅうりの雌花は花の後ろに小さいきゅうりが付いていますが、雄花にはそれがありません。

学術用語で下記のように表記する事もあります。
雌花：pistillate flower
雄花：pistillate flower

資料を配布する を英語で教えて!

・hand out
hand outで配る、という表現になります。

例：I am going to hand out the math tests.
これから数学のテストを配ります。

・pass out
pass outでも、同様に配るという意味になります。

例：Please pass out the papers to your classmates.
プリントをクラスメイトに配ってください。

・distribute
hand out、pass out、よりも固い表現で、新聞を配る、配給する、といった意味合いとなります。

例：In case of disaster, foods and necessities will be distributed at the school nearby.
災害の際は、最寄りの学校で食事や必需品が配給されます。

資料を破棄する を英語で教えて!

・shred the documents
shredで、シュレッダーにかける、細かく切り刻む、の意味となります。
シュレッダーはここからきています。

例：Please shred the documents after the meeting. It is highly confidential.
会議の後、資料は廃棄してください。機密情報なので。

・destroy the documents
destroy=破壊する、ですが、紙以外のデータを破棄する際にも使える表現です。

例：We must destroy this data before the enemy finds it.
敵に見つかる前に、このデータは破棄しなくてはならない。

資金不足で困る を英語で教えて!

・facing a short of funds
face=直面する
short of~=～の不足
funds=資金

以上を組み合わせて資金不足に直面している、という言い回しとなります。

例：PTA is now facing a short of funds.
PTAは現在資金不足に直面している。

shortは短い、という意味だけでなく、足りない、という意味も含みます。
「マネー・ショート 華麗なる大逆転」（原題”The Big Short”）という映画がありますが、
ここで使われているshortもお金がない！という意味ですね。

・have difficulty collecting funds
困っている、を一般的にhave difficultyで表現します。

例：He has been always facing difficulty collecting funds ever since he started the company.
彼が会社を作ってからというもの、常に資金不足に悩まされている。
