初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

黄ばむ を英語で教えて!

「黄ばむ」は英語で【turn yellowish】【turn yellow】で言うことが出来ます。

「白い服って、すぐ黄ばむよね。」
Whait clothes turn yellowish quickly.

ex.部屋の壁紙が黄ばんで来ています。張り替えて頂けませんか？
The wallpaper in the room is getting yellowish. So could you please change it?

ex. シャツが黄ばんでいます。
You'r shirt has turned yellow.

横顔 を英語で教えて!

「横顔に自信がない」は英語で【I don't have confidence in my profile.】
【(in my) profile】 は「横顔 (に) 」です。また【 face seen from the side 】も「横顔」です。

ex. 社会性に自信がないがどうすればよいか分からない。
I don't have confidence in my social skill but I don't know what to do.
social skill= 社会性
what to do= すべき事

横一列に並ぶ を英語で教えて!

「横一列に並ぶ」は英語で【line up in a row】【line up side by side】です。

line up=並ぶ
side by side=横に並ぶこと
row= 列
in a row＝(横)列に ⇔in a vertical row/ behind the other ＝縦列に

ex. 横並びになって下さい。
Please line them up side by side.

ex. 縦に並んでください。
Please line up one behind the other.

押し問答 を英語で教えて!

「押し問答」は譲り合うことなく言い争うという意味です。

英語では【discuss without giving in to each other】という事が出来ます。
【argue back and forth】も近い表現です。

back and forth= 行ったり来たり

ex. 彼らがよく押し問しているのは有名です。
It's famous that they often discuss without giving in to each other.
giving in to each other=お互いに与え合う

鉛筆の芯 を英語で教えて!

「鉛筆の芯」は【lead of a pencil 】【 tip of a pencil.】です。

鉛筆の芯が刺さった跡だよ。
It's the scratch by the lead of the pencil.
It's the tear by the tip of the pencil.

scratch = 傷、跡
lead= 鉛
tear=(裂かれたような）傷
tip= 先端

【参考】
食べ物の芯は【core】と言うようです。

ex.リンゴの芯だけよけて食べます。
I eat only whole apple avoiding the core of it.
