原動力 を英語で教えて！

「原動力」は英語で driving force や motive power などで表現することができます。
また motivation は「動機」という意味ですが”私の原動力は〜”のようなケースでも使えます。

Children's growth is my motivation.
（子どもたちの成長が私の原動力です。）

This is the most important part because this motor is the driving force for all movements.
（このモーターがすべての動きの原動力となるので、これは最も重要な部分です。）

耳にする を英語で教えて！

「耳にする」は英語では、シンプルに hear または get the word などで表現することができます。
※「聞き耳を立てる」は listen with all one's ears と言ったりします。

Recently, I often hear bad rumors about the company I work for, but I want to believe that these are just rumors.
（最近よく勤めている会社の良くない噂を耳にするが、ただの噂だと信じたい。）

口が滑る を英語で教えて！

「口が滑る」ですが、英語でもとても似た表現があります。slip of the tongue（舌が滑る）
他にも「失言する」という意味の言葉の gaffe も「口が滑る」を英語で表現する際に使えると思います。

It must have been a secret, but I made a slip of my tongue.
（内緒だったはずなのに、口を滑らせてしまった。）

He lost his status as an entertainer due to a gaffe on SNS.（彼はSNSで口を滑らせ、芸能人としての地位を失った。）

「資金援助」は英語では financial assistance や financial support で表現できます。
※「奨学金」は scholarship , 「助成金」は grant と言います。

My family is a single-mother household and we have no financial leeway, so my grandparents financially supported me for school fees.
（うちはは母子家庭で経済的に余裕がないので、学費の資金援助を祖父母がしてくれた。）
