受験勉強 を英語で教えて!

「受験勉強」は英語では studying for an entrance exam や preparing for an entrance exam などで表現することができます。

I learned English for studying for an entrance exam, but I'm a beginner when it comes to English conversation.

He is an elementary school student, but he is a student preparing for junior high school entrance exams.

「酒のつまみ 」は英語では appetizer や finger food などで表現することができます。

I want appetizers, but is there something?
（酒のつまみが欲しいんだけど、何かないかな？）

I ate it for the first time, but this is delicious. It's a perfect finger food.
（初めて食べたけど、これ美味しいね。酒のつまみにピッタリだよ。）

「趣（おもむき）」は英語では quaint や good atmosphere などで表現することができると思います。

This work is quaint and wonderful, so I definitely want to buy it, but how much will it cost?
（この作品は趣があって素晴らしいので是非購入したいのですが、おいくらになりますか？）

This old hotel has a good atmosphere.
（この古いホテルには趣があるな。）

腫れが引く を英語で教えて!

「腫れが引く」は英語では swelling has go down と表現することができます。

Thanks for your concern, the swelling has gone down now.
（心配してくれてありがとう、今は腫れが引いたよ。）

If the swelling doesn’t go down after a week, please come back. Prescribe another medicine.
（もし一週間経っても腫れが引かない場合は、もう一度来てください。別の薬を処方します。）
