持株会社 を英語で教えて!

「持株会社」は英語では holding company と表現することができます。
※ operating holding company とすると「事業持株会社」を表せます。

〇〇 is our holding company, so we trust it.
（〇〇は当社の持株会社なので信頼しています。）

They are an operating holding company.
（彼等は事実持株会社になります。）

※ちなみに hold を使ったスラングですが hold my beer（ビールを持ってて）というと、「これから無茶をする」というような意味を表せます。

基地局 を英語で教えて!

「基地局」は英語では base station と表現することができます。
※「通信基地局」なら communication base station になります。

※ちなみに base station は略して BS と表現されることもあります。

「衆議院選挙」は英語では House of Representatives election や Lower House election などで表現することができます。

（このあいだの衆議院選挙の投票した？）

（衆議院選挙の結果が少し気になる。）

※ちなみに house は「家」という意味ですが、動詞としては「家に泊まらせる」という意味を表せます。

憲法改正 を英語で教えて!

「憲法改正」は英語では amendments of the constitution や constitutional amendments などで表現することができます。

Historically, it is difficult to amend the Japanese constitution.
（歴史的に見て、日本の憲法を改正するのは難しい。）

There is no problems with discussing constitutional amendments.
（憲法改正について議論することに問題はない。）

※ちなみに constitutional は「憲法の」という意味の形容詞ですが、「体質の」や「生まれつきの」という意味でも使われます。

「保守派」は英語では conservative や right-wing などで表現することができます。

I have a question, what is the definition of the right-wing?

※ definition（定義、定義付け、など）

※ちなみに right-wing と言うと文字通り、「右派」「右翼」という意味にもなります。
