Ask someone else.または Inquire with another person. I couldn't figure out the answer, so I decided to ask someone else for help. She didn't know the way to the museum, so she inquired with another person for directions.

There is no ill intention. または、 No harm intended. I just wanted to offer some friendly advice, there is no ill intention behind my words. POINT】 There is no use -ing There is no use inviting her.

Speak ill of others. 「彼が他人を悪く言うのを聞いたことがない」を英語で言うと、 「I've never heard him speak ill of others.」です。 例文 It's not a good habit to constantly speak ill of others behind their backs.

The word "bat" is a homonym because it can refer to a flying mammal or a piece of sports equipment.

Wasted some time または Spent a bit of time in vain ※in vainは、フレーズになり、 わたしもこの表現が好きです!!! 「プリントミスがあったので、多少の時間を無駄にしたけど、大したことではないよ」 「There was a printing mistake, so I spent a bit of time in vain, but it's not a big deal.」 例文 I wasted some time trying to fix the broken printer.
