※少し固めの表現、メールにも使えます。

level of formality：フォーマルさの程度
be required：求められる、必要とされる

このドレスコードでは、どの程度フォーマルに服装を整えるべきですか？
※丁寧でフォーマルな表現

＜文法とニュアンスの違い＞
1.Can this ～ be increased?
受動態（受け身）で、「この～を上げることができますか？」という意味。

2. Is it possible to ～?
「～することは可能ですか？」と丁寧にたずねる表現。

3. Can we ～?
「～できますか？」カジュアルで会話的な聞き方。

このクエリをもう少し最適化する方法はありますか？

Is there any way to ～?：～する方法はありますか？（丁寧に聞く形です。）
a bit more：もう少し（＝further よりカジュアル）

例）

このプロセスをもっと速くする方法はありますか？

3. Do you think this query could be optimized a little more?
このクエリ、もう少し最適化できると思いますか？

Do you think ～ could be ～?：～できると思いますか？（意見をやわらかく聞く表現です。）
a little more：少しだけ、というニュアンスで柔らかい表現

例）
Do you think the design could be simplified a little more?
デザインはもう少し簡素化できると思いますか？

※使い分けのポイント
Can this query be optimized further? 技術的な質問として直接的。受動態でシンプルな表現です。
Is there any way to optimize ～? 方法を尋ねる丁寧な形。提案や相談に向いています。
Do you think this could be ～? 相手の意見をやんわり聞きたいときに便利です。

※一般的で丁寧な表現。

refund：（代金を）払い戻す、返金する
process（動詞）：処理する、手続きを進める
processed（過去分詞）：処理済みの、加工された

返金がいつ処理されるか教えていただけますか？
※より丁寧な表現

Could you～？: 〜していただけますか？
※類似表現
Would you～?： 〜していただけませんか？、〜する意思はありますか？
Would you be able to～?：〜することは可能でしょうか？
