1. Look more into the case
“Look more into”は「もっとしっかり見る」、“The case”が「事件」で「その事件を追う」というフレーズになります。

例文

警察は彼女の死は自殺だったと断定したが、彼女が自殺するなんてありえない。私は自分自身でこの事件を追う事にした。

1. To follow the continuation of the case.
「事件を追う」

「事件」は英語で様々な言い方がありますが、「殺人事件」「強盗事件」など多くの種類の事件などを総合して言えるのが case という単語です。
「(事件)を追う」は「to follow 〜」というフレーズで表すことができます。
「continuation of the case 」で、「事件の続きを追う」という意味になります。
