初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

推す を英語で教えて！

①推測する,推す＝guess
I guess はI think よりも確信が弱い場合に使います。

I guess he is innocent.
彼は無邪気だと思う。
This guess is wrong.
この推測は間違いです。

②I suppose that she will come here.
suppose that~=（今ある知識から,）～と推測する
※根拠はやや薄い状態

ex. I suppose you are right.
あなたは正しいと推測する、思います。

とりこになる を英語で教えて！

彼の魅力のとりこになる。
I got crazy about his charm.
get crazy about～ ＝ ～の虜になる
be crazy about～ ＝～の虜である
charm＝魅力、人を惹きつけるもの

I'm into swimming in the sea. lately.
最近海で泳ぐのに夢中です。
be into～＝～に夢中

ex. I'm crazy about eating cakes.
ケーキを食べるのに夢中です。
ex. He is into her , so he calls her everyday.
彼は彼女に夢中で毎日電話しています。

力が湧く を英語で教えて！

力が湧く= 【get motivated】【get energized】
I got get motivated by encouragement of the teacher.
先生からの励ましで力が沸いてきた、やる気が出てきた。
motivated=やる気がある
motivation=やる気

I got energized with a nutritious meal from her.
彼女の栄養満点の食事で力が沸いてきた。
energized ＝エネルギーのある
nutritious meal ＝栄養のある食事

ex.I'm always mativated when I mwwt her.
彼女と会うといつもやる気が（力が）沸く。

骨を折る を英語で教えて！

骨を折る=break one's neck / back.
直訳だと（～の為）骨を折る。
意味は（一生懸命に努力する、無理してでもやる、四苦八苦する）になります。

I broke my neck/back to study , but It didn't go well.
勉強に骨を折ったが、うまくいかなかった。

I took great pains to keep a relationship with him.
彼との関係を維持するのに骨を折った。
take pains to do＝～するのに骨を折る

ex.Take pains to accomplish something is important.
　何かを成し遂げる為、努力するのは大切だ。

前兆 を英語で教えて！

前兆＝【sign】【omen】【premonition】

Tere was a sing of accident.
事故の前兆がありました。

An omen that I will get success.
成功するという前兆。

His bad premonition are ofte hit.
彼の悪い予感はよく当たる。
※ premonitionは何か良くないことが起こるというニュアンスが含まれます。

ex.I have a premonition that something worse is going to happen.
何かさらに悪いことが起こる気がする。（ ←前兆を感じる。）
