初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

焦がれる を英語で教えて！

彼に恋い焦がれています。
①I'm love with him.
②I love him so much.

ex.I'm full of him.
(彼の事で頭がいっぱいです。）

③I always yearned for you.
いつもあなたに憧れていた。
yearn=慕う、憧れる、懐かしく思う

ex. I used to yearn for a pure love.
かつては純愛に憧れていた。
used to ～＝かつては～していた（が今はしていない。）

ex.I used to work hard late at nigjt.
以前は深夜もよく働いていました。

貸し切り を英語で教えて！

貸し切り風呂は有料ですか？
Is there a fee for a private bath?

private bath＝個室風呂、私的な風呂
Is there a fee for～？＝ ～は有料ですか？

ex. The inn has a private open-air bath.
その旅館には貸し切り露天風呂があります。

open-air bath＝露天風呂

終止符を打つ を英語で教えて！

彼との関係に終止符を打った。
I put an end to my relationship with him.

put an end＝終わりにする、終止符を打つ

I ended my relationship with him.
彼との関係を終わらせます。

This discussion came to an end.
この議論に終止符が打たれました。

※put/come/bring to an end.（終わらせる → 終止符を打つ。）

ex. You should put an end with the relationship with him.
彼との関係を終わらせるべきだ。

巣立ち を英語で教えて！

燕のひなが巣立って行く。
The swallow chicks leave the nest.

leave the nest=巣立つ
swallow＝燕（つばめ）/飲み込むこと、飲み込む（V）
chick＝雛

ex. I cant't wait for the children to leave the nest after becoming a mother.
　　母親になってから子供達が巣立つのが待ち遠し。

He is financially independent.
彼は経済的に自立している。
independent＝自立する（AJ）

ex. I'm doing an independent business.
自営業をしています。

躍動的 を英語で教えて！

一人一人の躍動的な演技に感動した。
I was mived by the dynamic performance.
dynamic=活動的な、動的な

ex.He is a dynamic person.
彼は行動的な人です。

The city is very lively.
lively＝元気な、活発な、賑やかな

ex. being lively and energetic in mind.
生き生きした躍動的な様子。
energetic＝エネルギーのある、生き生きした(場所や人の性格、イベントにも使えます）
