初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

恒例の を英語で教えて！

プールやスイカ割りは、夏恒例のお楽しみだ。
The pool and watermelon splitting are the annual summer fun.
watermelon splitting=スイカ割
annual=毎年の、いつもの

ex. On New Year's Day, we have an annual party with my family.
お正月は毎年恒例で家族でパーティーをします。

蚊に刺される を英語で教えて！

（たった今）蚊に刺された。
①I got bit by a mosquito.
bite-bit-bitten =かむこと（N） かむ、刺す(V)
mosquito＝蚊

ここを蚊にかまれました。
②I got a mosquito bite here.

☆①はたった今かまれた場合で、②はかまれてから言う場合の表現です。

【参考】
I was bitten by mosquitoes so my arm was itchy.
蚊にかまれたので手がかゆかった。
itchy＝かゆい

It swells up and gets warn where I get bitten by a mosquito.
蚊にかまれた箇所は腫れて熱を持つ。
swell＝腫れる
warn＝温かい、熱のある

スイカの種を飛ばす を英語で教えて！

彼はスイカの種飛ばした。
He spat out watermelon seeds.

spit-spat-spit= 吐く,つば/串/
spit out=～を吐き出す

ex. Don't spit out watermelon seeds on the floor.
　床にスイカの種を吐くな。

ex. You should not spit on the street.
　道に唾を吐くべきではない。
spit on the street＝道に唾を吐く

ex. the meat roasted with a spit.
　串で焼かれた肉

風物詩 を英語で教えて！

夜空に大きく打ち上げられる花火が夏の風物詩だ.
Fire works that are launched in the night sky are a summer tradition.

summer tradition=夏の風物詩
are launched＝打ちあげられる

Cherry blossom viewing is feature of spring in Japan.
お花見は日本の春の風物詩です。

ex.There are many traditional features in Japan.
日本には沢山の伝統的な風物詩があります。

表情筋 を英語で教えて！

表情筋を鍛える方法があるよ。
There is a way to train your facial muscles.
facial muscles, muscle of (facial) expression = 表情筋

ex.Facial muscles can be trained with facial yoga.
　顔ヨガで表情菌筋は鍛えられる。

表現筋は歳を取るにつれ衰える。
Mimetic muscles declin as we get older.
