初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

田舎料理 を英語で教えて！

お母さんの手料理は田舎料理です。
My mother’s cooking is local food.

local food=田舎料理、郷土料理
☆【local dishe】【 local cuisine】も同じ意味です。

ex. I'm going on a trip to eat Okinawa's local cuisine/food.
沖縄の郷土料理を食べに旅行へ行きます。

traditional cuisine= 伝統料理
staple food=主食
side dish= 副食

汗染み を英語で教えて！

汗染みが残るから早く着替えて。
There will be sweat stains , so please change it quickly.

sweat stain=汗染み
stain= しみ、よごれ、汚点（可算名詞）

ex. a stain on my peputation= 評判の汚点

ex.Sweat stains can be removed by washing my hands.
汗染みは手洗いすれば取れます。

washing my hands＝手洗い
remove＝取り除く、移動する（自動）、～を取り除く（他動）

艶が出る を英語で教えて！

柔らかい布でリンゴを拭くと艶が出るよ。
If you wipe the aapple with a soft cloth, it will get glossy /sleek .

get glossy / sleek = 艶が出る
wipe=拭く

ex. Hie forehead is always glossy and sleek.
彼の額はいつもテカテカしている。

ex.When I cleaned the floor, it became shiny.
床を掃除すると、ピカピカになった。

shiny＝ピカピカな、艶のある

無言の圧力 を英語で教えて！

そうやって早く食べたいと無言の圧力をかける
It puts silent pressure on me to eat quickly like this.

silent pressure=無言の圧力

ex.My boss always puts silent pressure on me at meetings.
会議の時、私の上司はいつも無言の圧力を私にかける。

ex.His presence is a lot of pressure for me.
彼の存在は私にとっては大きな圧力だ。

presence ＝存在

フードロス削減 を英語で教えて！

毎週土曜日はフードロス削減のため残り物で(食事を)作るね。
Every saturday , we make a meal with leftovers to reduce food loss.

reduce food loss = フードロス削減
leftover = 残り物

ex. Try not to cause food loss to save food expenses.
食費を節約する為、フードロスをしないようにする。
food expense＝食費
