初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

すごい食欲 を英語で教えて!

すごい食欲だね。
You have a great appetite.
a great appetite＝すごい食欲
appetite=食欲

ex. It's strange that you're thin
even though you have such a great appetite.
そんなにすごいっ食欲なのに、痩せているのが不思議です。
be thin=薄い、か細い

ex. have a good appetite=食欲がある
↔ have no (a poor) appetite.＝食欲がない

手慣れてる を英語で教えて!

彼女は料理が手慣れてる。
She is used to cooking.
be used to ~ing=～に慣れている、手慣れている(カジュアルな表現)

I am accustomed to speaking English to the gests.
英語でお客様に話す事に慣れています。
be ac-customed to=～に慣れている（フォーマルな表現）
custom=習慣

She is so experienced in teaching English.
彼女は英語を教えることに経験豊富です。
be experienced in＝経験豊富な

毛並みがいい を英語で教えて!

あなたの猫は毛並みがいいね。
You cat has a good fur.
fur=(ウサギやキツネなどの)柔毛

毛並み＝fur,coat,wool,hair etc..

This dog has a beautiful and shiny coat.
この犬は美しく、つやつやの毛並みです。

ex. A cat with a fine coat of fur.
毛並みの良い猫

ex. I take it to the beauty salon every month
to maintain the fur of my pet cat.
ペットの猫の毛並みを維持するのに、毎月美容院に連れていきます。

時間ある？ を英語で教えて!

この後時間ある？
Do you have time after this?

この後少し時間がありますか？
Do you have a little time after this？

この後、しっかり時間がとれますか？
Do you have enough time after this？

May / Could I take your time？
お時間よろしいでしょうか？

☆CouldはCan よりも少し柔らかい表現になります。
Could you tell me the way to～？　
～への道を教えて頂けませんか？

実感 を英語で教えて!

20代になったって全然実感がわかない。
① I’m in my twenties, but I don't feel it at all.
☆it は my twenties を指し、２０代になったことを意味します。
not ～at all=全く～ない

② It has't hit me that I turned twenties.
It has't hit me that~＝～の実感がありません

ex.I turned 30 years old this month.
今月で３０歳になりました。
