※ちなみに add を使った中国語由来のスラングで add oil で「頑張れ」という意味を表せます。（中国語の「加油（頑張れ）」から来ています。）

「有事に備える」は英語では prepare for emergency situations や prepare for emergency circumstances などで表現することができます。

The 〇〇 army is stationed on the side of the border line. Citizens need to prepare for emergency situations.
（〇〇軍が国境線の側に配置されている。国民は有事に備える必要がある。）

This typhoon is quite dangerous. You should prepare for emergency circumstances.
（この台風はかなり危険だ。有事に備えた方がいい。）

※ちなみに circumstance は situation 同様、「状況」という意味を表せますが、situation より「深刻な状況」を表現する際に使われる傾向があると思います。

「有名な選手」は英語では famous player や well-known player などで表現することができます。

Are any famous players taking part in this game?
（この試合に、有名な選手は出場しているの？）

He's a well-known player, but he's not in the starting lineup this season.
（彼は有名な選手だけど、今シーズンはスタメンじゃないんだ。）

※ちなみに famous player と言えば、「有名で凄い選手」というニュアンスで伝わると思いますが、well-known player と表現する場合は、特段、「凄い」というニュアンスは含まれません。

「湧き水」は英語では spring water や water from springs などで表現することができます。

These vegetables are delicious because they were grown using 〇〇 spring water.

（この湧き水、飲んでも安全ですか？）

※ちなみに、「温泉」の場合は hot spring と表現できます。
