フリーランスで英語教室を運営しておりますが、
今年の3月までは公立高校の英語教諭として10年勤務しておりました。

英語力は、実用英語技能検定１級、TOEIC985点です。

午年 を英語で教えて!

「午年」は、上記のように表現します。
horse は「馬」のことです。
「イヤーオブザホース」と発音します。
また、「干支」は、Chinese zodiac といいます。「チャイニーズゾディアック」と発音します。

例文
It’s the Year of the Horse this year.
今年は午年だね。

例文
According to the Chinese zodiac, I was born in the Year of the Horse.
中国の干支によると、私は午年生まれです。

be born 「生まれる」

例文
People born in the Year of the Horse are said to be energetic and independent.
午年生まれの人はエネルギッシュで独立心が強いと言われています。
※ be said to - 「〜だと言われる」
energetic 「エネルギッシュな」
independent 「独立心のある」

何味のラーメンが好き？ を英語で教えて!

「何味のラーメンが好き？」は、上記のように表現します。
「ワット フレイヴァー オヴ ラーメン ドゥ ユー ライク？」と発音します。
flavor は「味」のことです。

例文
I’m craving ramen today. What flavor of ramen do you like?
今日はラーメンが食べたい気分なんだけど、何味が好き？
※ crave 「〜をめちゃめちゃ切望している」

また、「何味の〜」と聞くのではなく、具体的な選択肢を提案して聞くこともできます。

例文
Do you like soy sauce, miso, or salt ramen?
しょうゆ、みそ、それとも塩ラーメンが好き？

巳年 を英語で教えて!

「巳年」は、上記のように表現します。
snake は「ヘビ」という意味です。
「イヤーオブザスネーク」と発音します。
また、「干支」は、Chinese zodiac といいます。「チャイニーズゾディアック」と発音します。

同じ未年でも、「Goat（ヤギ）」の代わりに「Sheep（ヒツジ）」が使われることもありますが、英語圏では一般的に Goat がよく使われます。
「イヤーオブザゴート」と発音します。
また、「干支」は、Chinese zodiac といいます。「チャイニーズゾディアック」と発音します。
