何探してるの？ を英語で教えて!

友達が辺りをキョロキョロしているので、「何探してるの？」と言いたいです。

何探してるの？

look for : （一般的な）探す

見つかりそうなもの、最悪見つからなくても大丈夫なもの、を探すときに使います。

例）
A : What are you looking for?
何探してるの？
B : My phone. It should be here.
携帯だよ。ここにあるはずなの。

2. What are you searching for?
何探してるの？

1.よりも見つけるのが困難そうな場合や、インターネットの検索の場合に使います。

例）
A : What are you searching for?
何探してるの？
B : My brother. He was with me a few seconds ago.
弟だよ、さっきまで一緒にいたのに。
