カルキ臭い を英語で教えて!

ホテルの水が家の水と味が違うので、「ここの水はカルキ臭い」と言いたいです。

日本語の「カルキ」はもともとドイツ語のChlorkalk「塩化石灰」が語源となっており、英語では通じません。
カルキ臭とは水道水の残留塩素の臭いを指すことが多いのでsmelling of chlorineもしくはchlorine odor といいます。
ちなみにオランダ語ではkalkといいます。
