全く取り付く島がない を英語で教えて！

会社で、何とかしたいといろいろトライしてみたが、受け入れてもらえなかったので「下っ端の自分には全く取り付く島がなかった。」と言いたいです。

全く取り付く島がないはhave no one to turn to/be left utterly helplessで表現出来ます。

have no one to turn toは"頼るところがない、すがる相手がいない"
be left utterly helplessは"助けてもらえないまま"という状態を表し＝全く取り付く島がないというニュアンスになります。

As a lowly man, I had no one to turn to.
『下っ端の自分には全く取り付く島がなかった』

He doesn't have many friends, and he was left utterly helpless.
