行きたいかどうか聞いてみる を英語で教えて!

友達を誘う事になったので、「行きたいかどうか聞いてみる」と言いたいです。

ask: 尋ねる、聞く
if: ～かどうか
go to ～: ～に行く
これらの表現を使って、
「AがBに行きたいかどうか聞く」
と表現できます。

A: We got one more ticket to the live concert. We can invite one of our friends.
ライブのチケットがもう1枚手に入った。友達を一人誘おう。
B: I heard Tom is day off on that day. I'll ask him if he wants to go the live with us!
その日はトムが休みだと聞いている。一緒にライブに行くかどうか聞いてみるよ！

live concert: （音楽などの）ライブ
invite: 招待する、誘う
day off: 休日

2. ask A whether or not A wants to go to B
AがBに行きたいかどうか聞く

「～かどうか」を表すものとして、「if」以外にも「whether」がありますが、こちらは「whether or not」のように「or not」が必要になりまので注意しましょう。

I don't know whether or not I should accept the job offer.
その仕事の依頼を引き受けるべきかどうかわからない。

accept: 受け入れる
job offer: 仕事の依頼
