状況が飲み込めない を英語で教えて!

不倫現場に遭遇して意味がわからないので、「状況が読み込めないんだけど」と言いたいです。

grasp は「握る」「つかむ」という意味を表す動詞ですが、「（状況などを）把握する」という意味も表せます。また、situation は「状況」「情勢」などの意味を表す名詞です。
