謎が残る を英語で教えて!

友達が嘘をついているように感じたので、「本当かどうか謎が残る」と言いたいです。

・I'm not sure if he is telling the truth.

この場合は「謎が残る」は直接的に訳さず、「〇〇が言ってることが本当かどうか分からない」の意味で"I don't know if it's true / waht the truth is." が自然です。

"I don't know what the truth is. I feel like she is lying ."
(何が本当かわからない。彼女は嘘ついてるように感じる。)

"I'm not sure if he is telling the truth."
(彼が本当のことを言ってるのか分からない。)
