日の出を見に行ったので、「海の向こうがうすぼんやり赤くなり幻想的でした」と言いたいです。

「うすぼんやり」は英語では dimly や faintly などで表現することができます。

It was a dreamlike sight, as the water on the other side of the sea was dimly red.
（海の向こうがうすぼんやり赤くなり幻想的でした。）
※ dreamlike（幻想的な、夢のような、など）

I could see a light faintly beyond that building.
（あのビルの向こうに、うすぼんやり光が見えた。）

※ちなみに dim（うすぼんやりした）は「漠然とした」という意味でも使えます。
