whole はすべての意味です。a whole week は丸1週間の意味です。

例文
It took me a whole week to finish this job.
私はこの仕事を丸1週間かけて完成しました。
（例文にある it take somebody sometime to do something は誰かが何かをするにはどれぐらいの時間がかかるという意味です。took は take の過去形です。）

2. all the week
時間を表す名詞の前に all the を足すことによって、丸（時間）の意味になりなす。例えば丸1年間は all the year 、丸1日は all the day です。
