〜といえば を英語で教えて!

　ビーフといえば、神戸牛だよね。

- Speaking of beef, I heard that the Kobe beef is the best in Japan.
　ビーフといえば、日本一は神戸ビーフだって聞いたよ。

"when it comes to ~" は、「～とくれば・～と言えば」
"speaking of ~" は、「～と言えば」

どちらも同様の意味合いですが、"when it comes to ~" のほうが、「～が特別」と言うニュアンスがあります。

"speaking of ~" は、単に、「～といえば」＝「～」の部分に話題を持っていくという感じです。

- Speaking of the exam, are you ready for the math exam next week?
　テストといえばさ、来週の数学のテスト準備できてるの？

何かについて話しているときに、「そういえばそれに関連してなんだけど」という意味合いで、
"speaking of which" という言い回しをよく耳にします。

会話例：
A: "We practiced baseball last night at the park."
　昨日公園で野球の練習したんだよ。
B: "That was tough, I have muscle ache today, don't you?"
　きつかったよ、今日筋肉痛だもん、君は？
C: "Speaking of which, do you want to go see the game tomorrow night?"
　（野球といえばさ）そういえばさ、明日の夜、試合観に行かない？

と言う感じです。
