蔓延防止 を英語で教えて!

久々に会った友達とこの数年の話をしていたので、「蔓延防止はよく聞いた言葉だね」と言いたいです。

Containmentとcurbing the spreadの両方とも似たような意味を持ちますが、使用される文脈は少し異なります。Containmentは通常、制御可能な状況や一定の範囲内での事態の抑制を指します。一方で、curbing the spreadはより広範囲な、制御が難しい状況に対して使われます。例えば、感染症の拡大を食い止めることを指す際にはcurbing the spreadが使われます。Containmentは、既に制御下にあるものを管理する意味合いが強く、curbing the spreadは拡大を防ぐという意味合いが強いです。

ただ「まん延防止措置」は直訳できる単語はなく、
似たような表現で表すことで、その問題を解決できます！！

まん延防止措置は、感染拡大を阻止するために、講じられた。
