mentionで、述べるという意味になります。
少し硬いので、sayでもいいかなぁと作っていて思いました。

具体的な使い方は、こんな感じになります。
That watch you showed me earlier, may I ask how much it costs?
「さっき見せていただいた時計の値段をお聞きしてもよろしいですか？」
