やればできる を英語で教えて!

子供のテストの点が良かったので、「やればできるじゃん！」と言いたいです。

「If there's a will, there's a way」と「Where there's a will, there's a way」のニュアンスはほぼ同じで、どちらも「意志があれば方法が見つかる」という意味です。しかし、「If」は条件付きの「もし〜ならば」という意味なので、特定のシチュエーションが起こるかどうか不確かな時に使います。一方、「Where」は「〜が存在する場所」という意味で、意志がすでに存在していることを前提とした表現です。したがって、「Where」を使う方がより強い決意や意志を感じさせます。どちらを使うかは、話す人の意図や状況によります。

「やればできる」は英語では You can do it if you put your mind to it. や You can do it if you try. などで表現することができます。
※ちなみに「潜在能力」のことを英語では potential と言います。それを使って表現してもいいかもしれません。
