I am preparing for the exam week which is approaching in a week, but I feel that it's too soon and I won't be ready!
私はあと１週間まで差し迫っているテスト週間に向けて準備をしていますが、近すぎて全然間に合っていません。

to approach：「差し迫る」以外には「近づく / 接近する」などの意味があります。
be + approach + ing ：差し迫っている
