「ご多忙のところ恐縮ですが、ご出席願います」の定番の言い回しはI understand you are occupied, but I would appreciate it if you attend.です。この言い回しはとても丁寧でフォーマルな言い方です。
「occupied」は「busy」とはほぼ同じ意味です。「occupied」のほうが、単に忙しいというより、やることがあって手が空かないというニュアンスを含みます。
少しフォーマルの度合いが下がりますが、I know you are busy, but it would be great if you attend.と表現することもできます。「know」の方が「understand」より少しカジュアルなニュアンスです。
