何かの拍子に を英語で教えて！

何となく、スマホの動画が壊れてしまったようだ。

somehow or otherは「何とかして」という意味を持つ英語の表現です。直訳すると「何らかの方法でやはり」になりますが、具体的な方法を特定せず、どんなに困難な状況であっても結果を達成するというニュアンスを含みます。計画や詳細がまだ不明瞭であるか、達成が難しいと思われる状況、あるいは達成の過程が困難である場合などによく使われます。

My phone just stopped playing videos out of the blue. It seems like it broke somehow.
私の携帯が突然ビデオを再生しなくなった。何かの拍子に壊れたようだ。

Out of the blueは予期しない事が突然起きるときに使われます。例えば、長い間会っていなかった友人から突然連絡が来たときなどに「彼からの連絡は突然でビックリした（Out of the blue）」と表現します。一方、"In the blink of an eye"は事が非常に速く変化したときに使用します。例えば、「時間があっという間に過ぎた（In the blink of an eye）」のように、時間や速度に関連する事象に使われます。

何かの拍子には by some chance/for some reasonで表現出来ます。

by some chanceは"万一、どうかして、若しや、何かの拍子で"
for some reasonは"何かの理由で"という意味を持ちます。

I was watching a video on my phone and suddenly it stopped working, so I guess it broke by some chance.
『スマホで動画を見ていたが突然動かなくなったので、何かの拍子に壊れたようだ』
