what I want：欲しい物
what には「物」「事」の意味があり what SV「SVするもの」or「SVすること」を意味します。主に動詞の目的語の働きをします。例えば「彼の言った事を思い出す。」は I remember what he said. です。また what + to 不定詞 では「～すべき物/事」を意味します。ここでの不定詞は形容詞的用法です。

関係代名詞の目的格 (that / which) を使い「欲しい物」things that / which I want to have です。

want to have は「手にしたい」→「欲しい」を意味し have の代わりに get は take を置いても同じ意味で伝わります。
