犬のリード を英語で教えて!

海外でリードをつけていない犬をよく見るので、「あの犬はリードをしてないね」と言いたいです。

dog lead　または lead for a dogと言いますが、犬の話をしているときには単にleadと言えば通じます。

イギリスでは、しつけのよくできている犬はリードを外して野原で遊んでもいいことになっている。
