初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

くたくたになるまで煮込む を英語で教えて!

くたくたに柔らかくなるまで野菜を煮込む。
①Stew the vegitables until they are soft enough.
②Cook the vegitables until they become tender.
③Simmer the vegitables until they are thick.

stew = ～を(とろ火で)煮込む
simmer = ゆっくり煮込む
tender = やわらかい、かみやすい ↔ tough = 固い
thick = どろどろした、分厚い

ex.ビーフシチューの肉が柔らかくなるまでしっかりと煮込む。
Stew the beef stew thoroughly until the meat is tender.
thoroughly = しっかりと、完全に

操られる を英語で教えて!

君はお母さんに操られているみたいだ。
you seem to be being manipulated by your mother.

manipulate = ～を巧みに操る、操作する
seem to = ～ の様に見える
☆It seems that/ like = (どうやら) ～のようだ(※It sooms that はややフォーマル）

ex. 彼はマネージャーに操られている様に従順です。
He is obedient as if he is being manipulated by a manager.
obedient = 従順な

食い合わせが悪い を英語で教えて!

食い合わせが悪かったみたいでお腹をこわした。
They didn’t go well, so I got a stomachache.

they don't go well = (それらは) 合いません
stomachache = 腹痛

ex. この食べ物とあの食べ物は食い合わせが悪いです。
This food and that food don't go well together.

ex. このお酒とおつまみを一緒に食べると最高です。
It’s great to have alcohol and this snack together.

空腹は最高のご馳走 を英語で教えて!

空腹は最高のご馳走だね → 空腹だと何を食べても最高においしい。
If I am hungry, it's most delicious no matter what I eat.
When I'm hungry, it feels delicious no matter what I eat.

no matter what SV～ = 何を～しても

ex. 空腹にまずいものなし（諺）
Hunger is the best sauce.

hunger = 空腹(N)
sauce = ソース

格別だなぁ を英語で教えて!

お風呂上りのビールは格別だなぁ。
The beer you drink after taking a bath is special.
special = 特別な、別格な

The beer after taking a bath is the best.
the best =１番、最高な

ex. このお店のパイは私が今まで食べた中で1番最高です。
The pie served at this restaurant is the best I've ever eaten.
The pie served at this restaurant is the most delicious I've ever eaten.
serve = 提供する
