僕も英語は始めた際は、初心者からです。
とにかく、聞いて、使って、真似する。

「足が出てしまった。」を英語で言いますと、
足がでるとは、予算を超過してしまうこと、またはしまったことです。
よって英語で表すと

Exceeded the specified budget
Went over the allocated budget

Unfortunately, the project costs exceeded the specified budget.
残念ながら、プロジェクトの費用が指定の予算を上回ってしまいました。

They went over the allocated budget for the event due to unexpected expenses.
予期せぬ出費のため、彼らはイベントの割り当て予算を超えてしまいました。

In generalは、一般的には〜といったニュアンスになります。
英検の英作文でも使える表現なので、
覚えておきましょう！

In general, people prefer to have clear communication in any relationship.
一般的に、人々はどんな関係においても明確なコミュニケーションを好む傾向があります。

As a whole, the project has been successful, although there were a few challenges along the way.
全体として、プロジェクトは成功していますが、途中でいくつかの課題がありました。

総勢〜名で を英語で教えて!

A total ofは、すごくシンプルな表現になります。

「総勢１０名でゴミ拾いを行いました」と言いたい場合には

A total of 10 people participated in the litter cleanup.
または、
We conducted a garbage cleanup with a group of 10 individuals.

We conducted a garbage cleanup with a group of 10 individuals, contributing to the cleanliness of our neighborhood.
総勢１０名でゴミ拾いを行い、地域の清潔さに貢献しました。

いい行いは、自分に返ってくると言いますね。
