当期純利益 を英語で教えて!

Net incomeは、会社の「最終的な手取り利益」のこと。売上から経費や税金など、支払うべきものを全部引いて、最後に残った純粋な利益を指します。

「今期のNet incomeは過去最高だったよ！」のように、会社の本当の儲けを示す時に使えます。

ちなみに、「Bottom line」は「要するに」「結局のところ」という意味で、議論や話の最も重要な結論を指す時に使います。ビジネスの交渉で「で、結論は？」と核心を突いたり、友達との会話で「結局何が言いたいの？」と話をまとめる時にも便利な一言です。

net とは「正味」という意味を表す用語となります。また、income は「所得」や「収入」を表しています。

例文
