帆をあげる を英語で教えて!

ヨットに乗っていたらいい風が吹いてきたので、「そろそろ帆をあげよう」と言いたいです。

raise the sails
raise には｢上げる｣という意味があります。
例文：

hoist the sails
hoist には｢持ち上げる、揚げる｣という意味があり、raise と同じように使うことができます。
例文：
I’ll leave whether to hoist the sails or not to captain.
(帆を上げるかどうかは船長に任せます)

raise the sails/hoist the sailsどちらでも帆を上げるという意味になります。

high on the sails
帆の高さを調整するよう指示する際は
