フルマラソンに初参加したので、「折り返しポイントですでにギブアップしそうだった」と言いたいです。

・turnaround point/turning back point

turnaround point/turning back pointは「折り返し地点」という意味です。
これは、マラソンや長距離など、実際の物理的な距離に対する中間地点のときに用いられます。

例
It looked like I was already going to give up at the turnaround point/turning back point.
「折り返しポイントですでにギブアップしそうだった」
We started climbing at 7 o'clock and finally reached the turnaround point/turning back point.
「7時に登山を開始したが、ようやく折り返し地点に着いた」

ちなみに、「人生の折り返し地点」や、「週の折り返し地点」などには
halfway through /halfway point　などを用います。
