同僚から聞いていたことが違ったので、「彼女が言っていた内容と結果がかなり違った」と言いたいです。

What she said : 彼女が言っていたこと
The actual result : 実際の結果

この2つの事象が、「異なっていた」ということで different を使っています。

主語は、二つの事象を and でつないでいため複数とみなし、were で主語と述語をつないでいます。

彼女が言っていた内容と結果がかなり違った。

Outcome : 結果（名詞）
Quite : とても（副詞）

「結果」を文頭に持ってくるパターンで文を作ってみました。
Quite はあってもなくてもよいですが、文章として驚きのニュアンスを加えるならば、different を修飾する何か一言をいれるほうが英語っぽいです。
